We plan to provide the Opening Number dresses and Swimsuits. The only reason we would not is if they could no arrive due to shipping.
You need to provide what you wear for Interview, Evening Gown and your accessories.
The swimsuit and gown competitions will take place in the evening on the stage of The Performing Arts Center. Semi-Finalists will be announced. Finalists will then be announced.
Finally, Award Winners will be announced and the pageant will culminate with the crownings!
OPENING NUMBER:
Opening number dresses description will be provided once they arrive.
Opening number is NOT judged. It is solely for pageant beginning & contestant introduction purposes.
SWIMSUIT COMPETITION:
This competition focuses on the beauty of face and figure The self-confidence of a contestant is very important. Also considered are: Physical Fitness, Symmetry of Form, Tone, Body Language, Poise and Grace under pressure. Physical measurements are not considered
Swimsuits will be ONE PIECE. It is the style that has been used at nationals for several years. See example above.
Hoisery is permitted and leg makeup is acceptable. Gel Pads may be used to enhance the bust. To keep your swimsuit in place, we suggest a roll-on product called “It Stays.” Bring moist baby wipes to quickly remove it before gown competition. NO BABY OIL, SPRAY BODY GLOW OR SPRAY FIRM GRIP ADHESIVE IS PERMITTED.
SHOE EXAMPLES:
Heels should be as high as you can walk in confidently and safely. Practice walking up and down steps wearing your gown/swimsuit and competition shoes.
You can use the same shoe for swimsuit and evening gown if you choose. Keep the style simple, too many straps, especially up the leg, can be distracting.
