You will be required to provide your own evening gown for competition. There are no specific requirements regarding the gown other than it should be full length, fit you well and compliment your coloring and physical features. However, you should not wear a two piece prom dress. Choose a style that suits your body type and a color that suits your skin tone. The gown can be straight, full, heavily beaded or not beaded. A good rule of thumb is that if you feel good in your gown.  The judges will be judging you, not the gown.

The evening gown category highlights not only the beauty of face and figure, but also the overall appearance, poise, confidence, fashion sense and stage presence of each contestant. The judges will also focus on the good taste and appropriateness of gown selection to personal style  No single detail of the gown, hair or make-up should garner attention. The effect should be elegant and sophisticated.

PLEASE…NO LACE UP GOWNS!!!!  We have had MANY many problems with gowns that lace up.  The strings often BREAK OR KNOT.  It is very difficult to compete at your best when you are a worried about your dress falling off.  YIKES! PLEASE DO NOT PUT YOURSELF IN THAT SITUATION.

The swimsuit and gown competitions will take place in the evening on the stage of The Performing Arts Center.  There will be NO escorts during the Evening Gown Competition.

Semi-Finalists will be announced.  Finalists will then be announced. Finally, Award Winners will be announced and the pageant will culminate with the crownings!
